Eagle Hike Sunday – REGISTRATION CLOSED
February 10 @ 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM$15 – $35
Join us at Bobcats Bar and Grill Ozawkie to check in and to board the Dirty Bus to head for our hike on the Perry Lake Trail. DGA will provide an informative talk about Eagles and their habits. We will hike approximately 3 miles on the Perry Lake Trail and we will see an eagles nest. We will hope to spot some American Bald Eagles nesting or hovering along the trail. We will return to Bobcats for some food (on your own dime) and social time post hike.
Detailed directions and suggestions will be emailed by February 6th. This allows us to watch the weather and monitor conditions prior to final instructions.
When: Sunday February 10th, Check in at 10am at Bobcats Bar and Grill in Ozawkie, Kansas
What: Board bus and then hike about 3 miles on the Perry Lake Trail… look for Eagles be happy! Feel the fresh air, see the sights, meet new friends! Re-board bus – We anticipate returning to Bobcats around 2pm… give or take based on Eagle sightings, weather, our pace.
Then What: Return to Bobcats Bar and Grill for lunch and social time (They have a great menu – check them out on Facebook)

What are you paying for?
Dirty Girl Adventures, LLC will provide a guide, support on the trail and docent information throughout the event. We will also monitor the weather and conditions to ensure that our event and participants are safe. Our knowledgeable and informed guide service includes a leading guide and a sweep guide during the hike. Trail support including: first aid, knowledge of the environment and locale, safety monitoring, pacing, interpretive information on the environment and location.
In case you are wondering about our refund policy – refunds are given up to one week before the date of the event no questions asked. After that, refunds are not given unless there are exceptional circumstances. Dirty Girl Adventures may cancel an event due to weather or conditions. Everyone will receive a refund if that is the reason for the cancellation. We will paddle and hike in cool, rainy or snowy conditions. Cancellation only occurs in severe weather or other dangerous conditions.
