Love Me! Registration Closed

We are so excited to bring you a special event for the month of February. The event is called Love Me! This will be a month long focus on developing habits and practices for both Self Care and Self Compassion. We will have 4 in person meetings of 2 hours, one each week. Throughout the week, you will receive some homework assignments. These will include journaling prompts, motivational videos, articles of interest, suggestions and tips for cultivating self care and self compassion. These will be printable if you desire to create a small personalized book for future reference. What’s the difference?  Self Care is about our physical selves. Healthy food, drinks, exercise, sleep, rest, finding time to give your body and your brain what they need.

Self Compassion is the practice of giving yourself the grace, forgiveness and compassion that you would extend to your dearest loved ones.We will explore what drags us down, and cultivate practices that help us move through and beyond these negative thoughts and feelings.

Our meeting locations and the order of activities for the 4 in person meetings will be flexible as we watch the weather. We hope that we will have the opportunity to be outside for all or part of our in person meetings.

We will meet from 6:30-8:30pm  each session.

Monday 2/25  We will end the session with a shared meal, an art project and celebration.  

All of the sessions will take place in the area of Perry Lake and possibly Topeka (as we work to move into our new digs in NOTO!)
