That is why we invite you to join us to: Venture In – Adventure Out: A Retreat designed specifically for Women. Your mind, body, and soul will be fed so that you can be the best version of you in all aspects of your life!

Venture In-You will heighten awareness of how your energy is impacting you and those around you. Not only will you gain clarity, you will have the opportunity to release some clutter that has weighed you down or blocked you from achieving the goals you have in your personal or professional life.

Adventure Out—You will learn the concepts of mindful intention and learn two nature focused mindful practices. Connecting with nature allows us to reconnect to ourselves which readies us for connection with others. We will practice strategies that you can take with you so that your ability to relax, reset and rejuvenate will be strengthened.

We will also feature a hands on creative activity that will provide you with a lasting piece of original artwork to inspire and remind you of what you learn.

Tamara is an educator, consultant, inspirational speaker, wife, mother and friend. Her experience in coaching and consulting with genuine wisdom and caring will fill your heart. Here’s Tamara in her own words…

“I have a gift for drawing out the strengths and talents of others. It excites me to help people uncover their abilities and realize how to use them in ways they never imagined in their homes, communities and organizations.

I have a heart and passion for people who feel they’re not enough. Maybe they feel they don’t match up to what others want or need them to be. Perhaps they’re wearing masks in different roles like marriage and parenting, or business and leadership. It doesn’t matter what title someone holds, down deep we are all humans experiencing life in the best (or only) way we know how.

It’s my honor to help you uncover what is getting in your way of experiencing life to the fullest – with purpose and freedom.”

Happy New Year Dirty Peeps!

2014 was full of some excellent adventures and great surprises.  2015 will be even better here at Dirty Girl Adventures!  After a full year of existence, we will be more prepared, better organized and … more creative than ever at getting you and yours outside!

There are so many great places to visit and so many great people to meet that 2015 will be full of adventure.  We are currently looking forward to our Custom Collage Workshop on January 11th. Pondering our vision for life in 2015, we decided that an inspirational and motivational collage would help us maintain focus on what is good.

We are also really, really looking forward to our April Dirty Girls Get Away  at the fabulous Lied Lodge and gorgeous Indian Cave State Park in Nebraska!  Although it is several months away, the anticipation of a get away weekend in an awesome place with awesome women is already building!

This is the lobby of the Lied Lodge!  Pretty gorgeous!  It is owned and operated by the Arbor Day Foundation so it seems like a perfect place for a Dirty Girl Get Away!

imgres We started the year off with an excellent “First Day Hike” at Perry State Hiking Biking Trails.  40 Dirty Peeps and Pets came together to start the New Year off on the trail!  Great turn out and great morning to get our blood moving – it was 9*!!  Think about the ways that you can get outside to move, to connect and to enjoy the world this year! 10897750_381739122000677_3761082904389426175_nWhat will you do this year?  My goal is to hike 500 trail miles this year!  I like goals that are positive, motivating and attainable.  (Instead of those annoying goals that essentially say I’m not good enough the way I am right now!)  I’m looking forward to focusing on the people and activities that I truly love and enjoy.  I am cutting out some of the things that I no longer love doing so that I can more fully enjoy the things I love and want to do now.  I acknowledge that even the things we love take work and are sometimes really challenging and miserable but even misery is better when it is attached to something we truly care about and love.  We hope that you are able to find and cherish the people and activities that you love with quality time this year!

We also hope that you will include a plan to come outside with Dirty Girl Adventures this year. We can’t wait to see you!  It’s going to be a great year!

Love and Peace to each of you this year!

yimg-1119831496-1-1390413816Join the Dirty Girls for an expression of your creativity to kick off the New Year! Denise and Jennifer of Dirty Girl Adventures will guide you in the creation of a Custom Collage. The goal? To design a piece of art that speaks to you! Each piece is different, expressing the beliefs and desires of the individual who creates it.

DSC_0949 This is not a “goal setting” event. While January is a traditional time to set personal goals, or resolutions, we are more interested in focusing on what inspires, motivates or moves your spirit so that when you need a boost or reminder throughout the year, you will have it in a beautiful and personal piece of artwork! If you have a quote, verse, lyric or photo that embodies this for you, please bring a copy with you if you’d like.

yimg-1133488408-1-1669175394We will help you will create a piece of art that will guide and support you throughout 2015. What is important to you? How will you stay focused during the daily hectic-ness of life? Our class is a time to think about this while simultaneously creating art, hanging out with your friends and enjoying an afternoon of relaxation at Crooked Post Winery!
